Wingtra's business development managers may engage in generating business in your (non-exclusive) territory and may support you by joining key high value deals.
Business development management at Wingtra
Next to channel sales managers, Wingtra also employs business development managers (BDM). These complement the activities of Wingtra's distributors in the following ways:
- Identifying, targeting and breaking into key high value accounts either on their own or by joining forces with a distributor on a joint deal
- Generate additional leads which are passed onto distributors
- Quality control on forwarded leads, reacting on leads who indicate that they were not satisfied with the quoting process from a local Wingtra distributor
- Closing deals who are not and don't want to be customers of the dealer
- Serving existing Wingtra customers, who were acquired in other territories that now want to expand their Wingtra orders within a distributors territory
Close More Deals with Support of Dedicated Business Development Managers
Distributors can request support and involvement on key high value opportunities from Wingtra's BDM and/or distributor sales managers. In particular, distributors are encouraged to request sales support from Wingtra in below situations.
Help on closing forwarded leads, new sales managers & refreshing knowledge about Wingtra products
It is a good idea to request sales support on the first few customer calls as well as on the first few customer demos for sales managers who are new to Wingtra's product.

Multinationals & Large Corporates
Working with large multinationals that have a local presence in your territory - there is a chance that they are using Wingtra drones already elsewhere in their global operations. At the same time, when a key account is scaling their drone program in your region, we will make sure to get you involved as a local dealer.
Help out on RFP / Government purchases
Approach us when you need to put together lockout specs for our drone or you are facing a complex purchasing process where you see additional value by the manufacturer being involved.
