Why Do I have to Do This?

Drones are complex systems, and even though we work really hard to rigorously test all our code prior to release, it is possible that safety-critical bugs are discovered. To maximize safety, we need a contact email address to inform you about safety-critical updates.

Additionally, registering your drone will help our support team to retrieve and analyze data in case of problems with a drone, which significantly speeds up the support process. We respect your privacy, and we only use secondary drone data, such as error codes that were generated by a drone. We never collect images or map data unless you submit such data separately via our file submission form—in order to get consulting on data processing from us.

In case you don't want to register your drone, or you are legally not permitted to do so, please contact our support via support@wingtra.com, so we can find a way to update you about safety-relevant software updates.
