Guidelines about copying / re-publishing pages or texts from the Wingtra website.
Wingtra greatly appreciates distributors looking to advertise the WingtraOne on their website. However, due to search engine optimization (SEO), content from wingtra.com should not be republished without Wingtra's expressed consent.
Can I, as a distributor, copy texts or pages from wingtra.com and publish them on my own website?
No. Distributors should ideally create their own text and content to support their advertising needs on their website.
Why is it not allowed?
Google and search engines always favor unique content. When the exact same content appears on two or more pages, it is considered by Google to be "duplicate content." This can negatively impact both Wingtra's and the distributor's ranking on Google and thus reduce the incoming traffic from search engines.
Is there any exception?
Yes, you are allowed to republish content from our blog if you give the proper instruction to Google as to where the original content lies:
Ask your webmaster or web developer to add a canonical tag in the code of your page. The canonical tag must be place between the <head></head> tags. Example:
<link rel="canonical" href="https://wingtra.com/tailsitters-vs-quadplanes-why-a-vtol-tailsitter-is-the-best-surveying-drone-for-your-mapping-missions/" />
Based on the above example, you'll replace the URL between the quotation marks with the URL from Wingtra's website that links to the original blog post.
