Using lists and portfolios to create a custom release roadmap in clickup (experimental)

Quickly writing down how you can use a list to organise a development project that implements a new feature and how you can then use a portfolio to represent a roadmap view of all your features. This is not officially in use, more a note to remember.

1. Create a list for your feature, whereas a feature should be a group of things that have a shared release date.

2. Add the following info to your list

    1. Description
    2. Due (=release to customer) date. You can have tasks / subtasks with other pre-release dates, e.g. a task for a release to production or a release review meeting.
    3. List owner

3. Add your features to a portfolio view.

4. You can use Gantt charts if you want to see the timelines within a project / list or if you want to build a roadmap based on tasks instead of lists. Gantt views can also filtered by tags, e.g. the Funnel Gantt (expand Marketing Q4 and Digital marketing to see the tasks) only shows tasks with the funnel tag and not other digital marketing projects).
