The following list helps you getting ready for a remote WingtraOne training. Some parts can be used as email snippets others help as inspiration.
Dates of training
If not already defined or handled by the sales rep, try to plan the training well in advance and check internally when the most suitable time would be. We recommend that the training is taking place after they have received their drone and they have read the online documentation, such as the Quickstart Guide.
We are happy to get you on-boarded as soon as possible. We will discuss and propose you potential training days in the beginning of next week.
Location of training
Can you let me know where exactly the training will take place so that I can organize flight and accommodation? Can you recommend accommodations or a neighborhood to stay at?
List of participants
Can you provide me the names of all participants, their email addresses and their occupation within your company? So that I can best prepare the training. We recommend a maximum number of 5 participants, so that each individual can profit the best.
Training Facility
Can you organize a room where we can have presentations and discussions? Furthermore, is there a location available where we can do test flights?
Availability of PPK correction data (optional)
First check what kind of drone and payloads the customer/reseller has ordered. If PPK drone clarify the following:
I would like to practice the entire PPK workflow with you. For the PPK workflow a RINEX file from a GNSS receiver is required. Do you have a CORS network available with a station close to the test flight area? Or do you have a GNSS receiver that could be used as a local base station? Here you can find the base station requirements. Furthermore, do you have an additional rover that can be used to measure checkpoints to assess the accuracy?
Send training program
Here attached, I send you the program of the 2 days WingtraOne Instructor training taking place in Bucharest next Thursday and Friday. Please have a look at the program and let me know if you feel something is missing or should be changed.
Pick up / Instructions how to get to hotel
Do you know what the easiest way is to get to the hotel? Could somebody from your team pick me up?
Visa
Check if a visa is required for you to enter the specific country. Ask the customer/reseller if help is required.
Import of drone
If you intend to take the drone back, check if Carnet ATA is valid for the country. Otherwise, ask the reseller if they are able to help you organize import. If it is a delivery, the customer is required to organize the import.

Prepare training slides
Create folder (e.g. 20200107 Country Company Training) for your training in folder 2020 QX Trainings.
Copy training template slides and move them to your training folder. Go through all the slides and modify them accordingly (e.g. 1 or 2 days, Operator or Instructor).
