In this article is explained how to check for damaged batteries

Parameters (1.9.5.)
State of Health
- Plots - bms_data_0/state_of_health
- Battery SoH is basically an indicator for how much capacity can maximally be used
- The state of health (SoH) is a good parameter to start with. A sane battery should be at 100%. Values between 90-100% are ok. Everything below might be a potential source of failure.
- Example of batteries with the SoH under 90%.
State of Health

Where to find a battery ID in WingtraExplorer?
Where can I find the battery on the battery ID?

- Battery SoH is basically an indicator for how much capacity can maximally be used
- SoH can only be seen for BAT1
- Ask the customer to switch the USB cable and connect both batteries to get information about BAT2
Faulty Cells
- If at least one cell row is different from the others (threshold ? around 0.05V in idle and 0.1 under load for more than 10s) then you need to do assess more info.
How to assess:
-
For BAT1:plot max_cell_voltage_delta
- Does voltage difference exceed the threshold?
- For BAT2: can only be assessed if there is a huge voltage difference
- Ask Ronny

Landing Voltage Levels
- At normal conditions (30°C and 1500masl), WingtraOne can fly with a min voltage of approx. 24V-25V.
- Always check the lowest voltage level (battery_status/voltage_v) reached before landing/crashing.
- If the voltage is lower than 25V, this might be an indicator of a faulty battery or a faulty drive-train.

Power Consumption
- Power Consumption (batter_status/power*) should be within following margins
- Hover: P_max_continuous=1000W
- Cruise: P_max_continuous=250W

Battery Switching OFF/ON
- Plot bms_data/pack_voltage_v* vs. battery_status/voltage_v
-
In case of battery switching on/off battery_status/voltage_v would drop to half of the voltage (between 12-16V) while bms_data/pack_voltage_v* either remains at a full voltage or drops to 0V
-

The logs show clear evidence that the left drivetrain saturated in hover whereas the right drive-train never reached saturation.
