Known Issue: RX1 will not power on

Over-voltage issue and fix for RX1 cameras that will not power on.

Troubleshoot: Power on the aircraft and observe the back of the camera. If it does not light up conduct the follow steps.

• Check that the power switch on top of the camera is in the ON position
• Check that the battery is properly inserted into the bottom of the camera
• Check that the bridge cable to the components bay of the aircraft is connected securely

If the aircraft is powered on after running these checks and the camera is still displaying nothing remove it from the payload pay and charge the external battery. Insert the external battery once charged and turn on the camera. If the camera does not power on the

Cause: The cause for dead cameras is because of an over voltage HW malfunction that is on the older camera housing mounts. The issue lies in the cabling of the housing back which holds the RX1 camera.

Solution: Replace the camera and housing bay under warranty and return it to Zurich.
