This article explains the RDO's special terms on premier tier, demo units and structure of Sitech subdealers in RDO territory.
Margins, Demo units, Customer support units, Premier Tier
- For RDO, the standard margin on WOP-EMP is reduced from 35% to 30% and the premier dealer discount is reduced from 40% to 35%.
- RDO's premier dealer discount does not reset and applies for all orders. Hence the effective WOP-EMP margin is 35%.
- Premier status is awarded continuously (unless you fall below a certain threshold 6 month into the year, which is to be defined together at the beginning of each year)
- Wingtra to offer RDO a custom demo unit program
- Overall we couldn't really find a scheme were either of us can make a lot of money with such a program. So we suggest to set this up with the goal that the program just covers RDO's cost. You would need to see this mainly as a cost-neutral supporting marketing effort.
- The scheme would allow you to rent hardware at a heavily subsidized price for 1 year. At the end of the year, you would have the obligation to purchase those units at a low additional price.
- In order to ensure customer satisfaction, we would require you to purchase SYW for each used demo unit that you sell off to a customer.
- These units would be allowed to be loaned to customers free of cost in cases of extreme customer hardship (i.e. RDO is not allowed to generate revenue with such a service in the sense of an Always On program). This would be a customer satisfaction measure. In normal cases we would expect you to still promote redundancy of systems appropriate for mission critical operations (i.e. spare drone or full second bundle).

The Sub-Dealer is permitted to sell one or more WingtraOne's (WOP) as part of a package, bundled at the point of sale (Bundled Package) with at least one license of Propeller or Trimble Stratus software.
WingtraOne stand alone sales (without a Propeller or Stratus sale) are not permitted unless the customer owns an active subscription license to Propeller or Stratus at the time of sale.
The Sub-Dealer is permitted to sell additional Products such as payloads, extended services, accessories and WingtraOne's to their customers who have initially purchased a Bundled Package.
Sub-Dealers may advertise the Products as a Bundled Package where Propeller or Stratus names or logos
- Policing mechanism
The Sub-Dealer shall notify a Wingtra Sales Manager within 2 business days of a WingtraOne sale via email and confirm it was sold as part of a Bundled Package.
The Sub-Dealer is required to record the sale in the 'Report a Sale' application within the Distributor Portal
WingtraOne products may be fulfilled through an existing Wingtra Distributor for the region or Wingtra directly. Wingtra Sales Managers will coordinate the communications and shipment of the Product with the Sub-Dealer.
Purchase orders, invoicing and payments will be conducted between the Sub-Dealer and Wingtra directly
