How to test the holding force of the top cover magnets
This article explains how to check the holding force of the magnets which hold the top cover.
If the top cover is lost during the flight, after receiving the replacement, you should test the holding force of the magnets which hold it.
This issue might appear if the magnet is not positioned correctly or if the rim/edge of the top-cover is not trimmed properly. The magnet is strong enough and is designed to resist the forces (e.g. air pressure in payload bay), however, this issue might appear in 1/300 top covers.
- Make sure the WingtraOne is not powered
- Lay down the WingtraOne on a flat surface so that you can remove the payload. Check the following articles on how to remove the PPK module and the camera mount with camera.
- Place the new top cover we will ship to you to the drone
- Turn the drone upside down
- While the drone is in that position, put one WingtraOne battery inside the payload compartment top cover.

- Lift the drone for ~10cm.
- The top cover should stay in place
