This article will show you how to repair dents in the wing using a hot air gun
This is not an easy repair. Carefully read these instructions beforehand to avoid getting yourself burned or damaging your WingtraOne.
Make sure your working environment is clean and WingtraOne has a protected or soft surface to lay on to avoid surface damage. It is advised to remove things like watches or metal jewelry for your own safety. Do not place WingtraOne on a flat surface with the payload still in it, but rather let it rest on its wings so the bottom part of the payload bay is not touching the ground as shown in the picture below.

Tools required:
- Hot air gun

- Unplug and remove the batteries from WingtraOne.
- Place the plane on a stand so the dent is facing upwards.
- Remove the Top and the Nose cover from WingraOne.
- Unplug and unscrew the payload and remove it from the plane. Check the following article on how to remove the camera mount with a camera.
-
Heat up the spot where the dent is from a distance of approx. 10cm/4inch between the hot air gun and the plane.

- Take your time, heat up the spot very slowly, and make a pause after every 3 seconds. In each pause touch the spot with your fingers where you heat it up and make sure that the surface doesn’t get too hot. It should be possible to touch the heat up spot for at least 2 seconds without burning your fingers. This will prevent the surface from bending or getting wrinkled as shown in the picture below.

It is very important to move the hot air gun in a circular motion and never stay at the same spot
This procedure will most likely not remove the dent completely. If you feel that there is no more progress, it is better to stop the procedure to avoid even worse damage to the wing.
