Do you need to understand how the drone registration process works?
Customers get a pop up notification in Wingtra Pilot and are asked to register on wingtra.com/register to activate their warranty.
They can either confirm that they did it or choose a remind me later option which brings up the dialogue 5 days later.
WE WILL GIVE WARRANTY ALSO TO DRONES THAT ARE NOT REGISTERED.
Customers can then fill in the drone registration on our website. They need to do this for each drone. This has multiple effects:
- If a drone record exists, the "First name from drone registration", "Last name from drone registration", "email from drone registration" and "company from drone registration" properties get populated
- If it doesn't exist, it is created
- If we find a contact record with the same email, we append the field "Registered drone IDs" to be a list of all serial numbers that have been registered from that person.
- We update the assigned distributor of the drone.
- A task is created that asks you to associate the registered drone with a company, in case we could not match the "Company name from drone registration" with a company record in hubspot.
Ho do I associate a drone with the right company?
After a user registered a drone, we will manually maintain the database in hubspot. As Wingtra support team member, you will get tasks from time to time to associate a drone with the right company. The following screen recording explains how
