[Zagreb office internal] How to import drones in Croatia

This article explains the customs procedure in Croatia in case the replacement/new drone is sent from Switzerland.

  1. Create the deal and shipment according to the procedure Create the deal and shipment.
  2. Put your email and phone number in the contact field.
  3. Larissa will send you the pro forma invoice and air waybill via Skype. We always declare the parts as a replacement and the lowest possible value for the parts.
  4. Once the package is in the customs, the company "In Time" will send you the email informing you that the package has arrived and to fill in the "Dispozicija za uvoz". Example:
  5. Ask In Time to send you "Izjava za gratis uvoz". It is needed because Wingtra always sends us goods for free (we never have to buy drones or replacement parts). Hence we never have the invoice or payment confirmation for the goods delivered.
  6. Fill in Dispozicija and Izjava za Gratis, ask Jasna to sign it and put the company stamp. Answer their other questions (e.g. translation of the parts in Croatian, delivery address). Scan the docs & send to In Time.

The examples of Dispozicija and Izjava za gratis are in the pink folder under Customs docs in the white closet in Zagreb office.

7. After they receive the needed docs, they will send the invoice. Ask Jasna to pay and send them the confirmation.

The whole procedure can take up to 5 days from arrival to the payment. If it takes longer, they will return the parcel to the sender.

Don't send the T-shirts because we have to pay for the sanitary check. The better option is to ask somebody who travels from Zurich to Zagreb to bring them.
