RX1: Data Gathering for Support

If you encounter problems with the camera reliability, use the following steps to provide the data needed to resolve your issue.

Camera reliability reporting

Please first go through the common debugging and Q&A article to see if they fix your problem and perform a test flight to see if the problem still occurs afterward.

(Required) Problem description

Describe the problem you are having in free text. Be detailed with what you have tried previously, frequency of the issue, if anything changed between good/bad flights, and verification of the issue.

(Required) Logs

Please transfer the flight logs and send them to us using the following process: WingtraOne flight logs uploader.

If you are not able to perform a flight log transfer due to a failed camera access, please perform the fallback method and send the obc logs to wingtra support.

(Required) Camera mount serial number

Please check and provide to us the serial number that you can find on the camera mount. You can see more details on where to find the serial number in the following article.

(Required) Check if the camera works without the drone

Please check if you can power the camera using the Sony battery. Take the camera out of the mount and make sure the external battery is charged.

If the camera does power up normally, take a few test images to see if the camera is able to save images to the SD card.

Send an image to support to read the camera settings in the EXIF data.

(Optional) Video of startup and camera check sequence when looking at the camera screen and tablet

Please prepare the drone with the camera connected and the tablet ready and record a video showing both camera screen and tablet while performing the following steps:

  • Power up the drone
  • Show the camera screen and tablet until the camera check is available or for at least 90 seconds
  • Press the camera check button if available
  • Record the camera screen and tablet during the camera check until the camera check indicator on the tablet shows either success (green) or failed (red)
