Known Issue: GEN II SD card read-only issue

In the preflight checklist, the WingtraOne SD card fails with the message "SD card failure - read-only protection"

This issue is specific for GEN II planes but it is not specific to any of the software releases. There are a few procedures that can help with this issue. Try to repeat each procedure a few times before moving to the next one.

Possible solutions

  • Check the position of the lock switch on the SD card
  • Re-plug the SD card
  • Re-power the drone
  • Re-format the SD card

In order for the devs to have more info on this issue, please ask the customer to share the flight logs with us.
