How to handle new shipments

This article explains the actions a distributor should take when receiving a new shipment from Wingtra.

Check your parcel after the reception

Once a new package is received, it should be checked for any visual damages on the packaging. You need also to make sure that the blue seal is intact on every cardboard box before you open it. Take a picture of the package and the blue seal before you open it even if everything looks good. It will be requested by Wingtra in case you report a damage.

If the package and the blue seal are intact, open the package and inspect the WingtraOne for potential shipping damages. Make also sure that all the items are included in the shipment.

Do not fly the WingtraOne for testing as this will activate the warranty.

How to claim transport damages

Report any damages on the packaging or the items to Wingtra Support by submitting a ticket describing the damage and attaching pictures. Make sure that you include in your ticket images of the damaged carton box and the damaged parts. You must report the damages within 7 days from the reception, as this is the time we can claim shipping issues at FedEx.

Shipment to the customer

Once it is confirmed that there are no damages to the package and the items, the package can be forwarded to the end-customer. Inform the end-customer that they should store the original packaging (cardboard box for drone) for potential return shipments.

Potential transportation damages or lost packages between the distributor and the end-customer are responsibility of the distributor and are not covered by the Wingtra warranty.
