(Distributor) How does the global trade-in program work?

Learn how much of a discount is offered to customers and how you can opt-in to participate in the campaign.

What is this?

Wingtra is offering end customers that have an old drone the opportunity to get a deal on their old system, by extending a discount to them if they buy a Wingtra drone and hand their old drone in as part of the deal. Depending on dealers' participation this discount reaches up to USD 5'000.

How do I participate in this?

You are required to opt-in to this campaign here or by checking in with your sales manager. By doing so you agree to share 50% of the discount (see table below). If you don't want to participate, end-customers will still be able to benefit from Wingtra's discounts directly.

Terms and restrictions

  • Landing page—people are only eligible for discounts when signed up on this form. So in case you would like to extend a discount to a lead, please sign them up here. Otherwise, Wingtra will not be able to process.

  • Limited time—the campaign has a time limit. Currently, we plan to re-assess the success of the campaign in August '20, at which point we will adjust accordingly.
  • How much do I get for this drone?—this is intentionally not visible, but people can get this info after signing up.

Do not share the table below, but channel people to https://wingtra.com/trade-in-program/

  • Functioning trade-in units —only working units are eligible for trade-in. The proof of the functionality of the unit can be given either by (a) bringing the drone to a demo with the dealer (best option as this could also help in closing!) OR (b) by having the customer sign a statement (make a copy of this template to collect the signature).
  • Removal from the market—Wingtra will take possession of the trade-in drone or ask for proof of its destruction.

How much of a discount do we offer customers?

Depending on (a) the unit that is traded in and (b) the WingtraOne model that a customer is interested in, the discount amount varies.  Note that the discount will be bigger for end-customers of dealers that participate and chip in some of their margin. This is possible by splitting the burden of the discount that has been extending to the end-customer between you and Wingtra (50% each).

How to read this table: On the far left column, find the old drone that an end customer is looking to trade-in. In the second row, locate WingtraOne that the end customer wants to purchase.
