      Compatibility of QX1 with PPK module

      This article explains how to distinguish if the QX1 camera of a customer can be upgraded to QX1 PPK.

      The QX1 camera is now compatible with the PPK module. Customers with a QX1 camera can use it with the PPK module. However, not all the QX1 mounts are PPK enabled. To distinguish between the PPK compatible and the non-PPK compatible mounts, the label on the mount should be checked.

      PPK compatibility 

      New QX1 mount with a label of the type: R10C PPK XXX (XXX is the serial number). In these cases, the customers can simply use their QX1 with the PPK module.

      No PPK compatibility

      All QX1 mounts without any label or with a label of the type R10C XXX (XXX is the serial number). The customers need to obtain a new QX1 mount in order to use their QX1 with the PPK module.

      Software Limitations

      The QX1 PPK is only compatible with WingtraPilot and WingtraOne version 1.10 or later. Additionally, for geotagging the images WingtraHub version 0.5.0 is required.
