The capacitor, which is the part of the motor mount that is responsible for filtering off-voltage peaks, could have fallen off the drivetrain.
To check whether there is a trapped capacitor inside the WingtraOne main beam, hold the WingtraOne from the motors and rotate it around its vertical axes, like in the video:
If the sound is similar to the one in the video, it is very likely that the drivetrain capacitor has fallen inside the wing.
How to solve the issue?
- Pull out the drivetrains without disconnecting them following the instructions of the following article up to step 2, picture 4: Replace the drivetrain.
- Check if the capacitors are still there or missing. In the following picture, you can see how the capacitor looks like. If you are unsure, send an e-mail to support@wingtra.com.

- If the item is missing, it should be retrieved and the drivetrains should be replaced. Remove the object from the wing by following the instructions of the article How to get a trapped object out of the wing.
- Send an e-mail to your local dealer or support@wingtra.com with a photo of the drivetrain and the object.
- Your local dealer or Wingtra Support will ship you a new pair of drivetrains, and you can replace the current ones following the instructions of the following article: Replace the drivetrain.
WingtraOne can still continue flying until you receive the new pair of drivetrains, but we highly recommend swift replacement, since the loose capacitor could lead to more serious incidents in the future.
