Camera Trigger Ground Test

If there is an issue with the camera not taking pictures during a flight this article will explain how to run a triggering test using the plane on the ground.

Procedure goes beyond standard Wingtra Support.

- Go to WingtraMode from General Settings (pw: wingtra.1)

- Unlock parameters by setting: PARAM_UNLOCK = 20170109 (Note to change any parameter you must unlock param before changing every time you enter WingtraMode or it won't save)

- Save params on reboot by setting: SYS_STABLE_PARAM = "Keep current params on reboots"

- Set TRIG_MODE = "Time based, always triggering"

- Repower the plane, after the camera connected it should start taking images by itself. If it does that, then the test has succeeded.  If it doesn't close the application then look at the settings to verify "keep parameters on reboot" and "Time based, always-on"  Take screenshots to prove the settings are correct then repower again to see if the test runs.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-After the test, we need to change the settings back to normal

- Unlock parameters by setting: PARAM_UNLOCK = 20170109.

- Save params on reboot by setting: SYS_STABLE_PARAM = "Reset params to default on reboot"

- Repower plane and confirm that it is not triggering anymore and the tabs on the left are NOT red.

- Go back to Basic Mode from General settings

After the trigger test, the file structure on the camera SD card will be messed up because the camera writes photos to the DCIM folder.  If you try to fly with data in those folders it will cause an error.  Please reformat the camera after testing.
