This article presents the most common issues with the WingtraOne battery charger.
WingtraOne battery charger is used for charging Lithium-Ion batteries needed for powering WingtraOne.
Sometimes the charger failures can be caused by inappropriate handling of the charger and the batteries. In order to reduce the risk of failures with the charger, make sure you are familiar with the charging workflow described in this article.
NOTE: Before charging please check the following:
- the input voltage switch is on the correct side - pay extra attention as wrong selection can destroy the charger
- the correct program is selected (LiIo CHARGE)
- the charger is correctly plugged in AC power
- the cables are correctly plugged in batteries
If you are sure all steps are performed correctly and you are still facing issues, please read what are the most common issues with the battery charger, what are their causes and how to handle them.

Special or box characters display error

The errors on the displays from the images above will appear in the case of defective screen or cabling to screen. In that case, the only solution is charger replacement. Contact support@wingtra.com for further instruction.
Defective hardware components
If you face one of the following issues:
- High-pitched sound from charger
- Both displays of the charger don’t turn on
- One display of the charger is off
- Charging output remained at 0.00A on one side
that means the one or more electronic components of the charger are defective (motherboard, fan, etc.), and the charger needs to be replaced. Contact support@wingtra.com for further instructions.
"Connection error check main port"

This error will appear in the following cases:
- Batteries are deeply discharged (e.g. the WingtraOne was left powered on for the night)
- Batteries are faulty
- Charger cable is faulty
- Battery main port was not connected properly
This means the other components are faulty or cables are not plugged correctly, and the charger is working properly. In all cases please check whether another battery can be charged on the same port, all cables are connected properly, or if the other cable works on the same port. If the charging process works with other components, please replace batteries/cables.
Charging WingtraOne Flight Batteries stops with an error
WingtraOne flight batteries have a protection mechanism to avoid overheating during charging. Once the battery temperature is above 50°C (122°F) the battery has to cool down below 30°C (86°F) to initiate the charging process.
